Friday was the first day of on-field drills at the NFL Scouting Combine, and it proved to be a big day for the group of running backs, specifically Stanford-product Christian McCaffrey. After breaking NFL legend Barry Sanders' NCAA record for most all-purpose yards in a season with 3,496 in 2015, McCaffrey continued to open eyes in his Combine debut.
While McCaffrey and Co. highlighted Friday's action, the second day of drills at the NFL Scouting Combine has been record-breaking, literally. University of Washington wide receiver John Ross stole the show Saturday afternoon, as he broke running back Chris Johnson's 40-yard dash record time (4.24) with an official time of 4.22.
Ross flashed his incredible speed as he burst off the line and raced down to finish in record-breaking time.
During his time at the podium, McCaffrey discussed his relationship with Oakland Raiders Head Coach Jack Del Rio.
