The Raiders selected Davis in the 11th round of the 1979 NFL Draft out of UCLA. He played in 121 games with 76 starts. He was a key member of the Raiders 1983 Super Bowl XVIII championship team. He was acquired by the Houston Oilers in 1987 and played two and a half seasons with the Oilers.
