Brock Bowers named AP Offensive Rookie of the Year finalist

Raiders tight end Brock Bowers has been named a finalist for The Associated Press Offensive Rookie of the Year award, the organization announced Thursday. It's the latest recognition from the AP for Bowers, who was also recently named a First-Team All-Pro.

Bowers set new NFL records for receptions by a rookie (112) and receiving yards by a rookie tight end (1,194) this season. He also passed Amari Cooper for the most receiving yards by a rookie in Raiders history and Darren Waller for the most receptions in a season in Raiders history.

If Bowers were to win, he would become the first tight end to do so since the Associated Press first began its Offensive Rookie of the Year award in 1967.
