For the seventh time this season, Brock Bowers has been nominated for the Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week.
Bowers received the nomination after recording 11 receptions for 99 yards in Sunday's win over Jacksonville. Bowers joined Odell Beckham Jr. (four) as the only two players at any position in NFL history to record four games of double-digit receptions in their rookie season.
"He's all ball," Head Coach Antonio Pierce said following the win. "He's all business. He doesn't blink. He doesn't flinch. He wants to win. Whatever it takes to win, if it's throwing him the ball or him blocking, he'll do whatever it takes. Again, I'm just proud of his effort."
With two regular season games remaining, Bowers leads all rookies in receptions (101), yards after catch (549) and receiving first downs (53). He ranks second among rookies and eighth in the NFL in receiving yards (1,067)
In addition to Bowers, Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams, Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving and Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. were also nominated.
