The Raiders took on the Cleveland Browns Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium in their first road matchup of the regular season.
At the half the Raiders lead 17-3.
Here are the highlights from the first half.
The Browns won the coin toss, electing to defer, and on the opening kickoff Taiwan Jones returned the ball to the 23-yard line.
On the first play of the game, quarterback Derek Carr dropped back and connected on a fade route to wide receiver Amari Cooper for a gain of 13.
Facing a 3rd and 13, Carr bought himself time, and once again found Cooper for a gain 18 and the Raiders first third-down conversion of the game.
The Raiders once again found themselves in 3rd and long, but the AC/DC connection closed the circuit, this time for a gain of 23.
The Silver and Black's drive stalled, but Sebastian Janikowski converted a 23-yard field goal to give the Raiders an early 3-0 lead.
The Raiders forced the Browns to punt on their first possession after Josh McCown could not convert on 3rd and 13.
With just over 1:00 left in the first quarter, Khalil Mack broke through the Browns offensive line and took down Duke Johnson for a loss of 1.
On the next play, the Raiders tallied their first sack of 2015, as Ray-Ray Armstrong took down McCown for a loss of 3.
With 12:28 remaining in the first half, the Raiders defense once again got off the field after the Browns were unable to convert a 3rd and 5.
The band got back together with 8:35 remaining in the first half, as Carr found Cooper once again, this time for a gain of 40 that took the Raiders deep into Cleveland territory.
The drive was punctuated several plays later, when Carr connected with Andre Holmes for a three-yard touchdown. Janikowski added the extra point to give the Silver and Black a 10-0 lead with 6:46 remaining in the first half.
Carr masterfully drove the Raiders offense the length of the field in short order, and connected with Seth Roberts for a 13-yard touchdown with 0:18 remaining in the half. Janikowski added the PAT to give the Silver and Black a 17-3 lead in the waning moments of the first half.
