The Oakland Raiders 2019 regular season schedule is finally here.
Since the end of the 2018 regular season, we've known which teams the Silver and Black would face in the upcoming year, but we didn't know when.
Following the announcement, we can now take a closer look at who the team will be playing next season.
Here are highlights and notes from the 2019 schedule:
-The Raiders will kick off the season on Monday Night Football for the second consecutive year, after hosting the Los Angeles Rams in 2018. It will be the fifth time in club history that they have hosted the Broncos on MNF.
-The Raiders will host three playoff teams from the 2018 season, including an NFL International Series game against the Chicago Bears in London and a primetime matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday Night Football.
-The Silver and Black last hosted Monday Night Football in back- to-back season openers in 2008 and 2009, when they played the Broncos and Chargers.
-This will be the first year the Raiders have faced a divisional opponent in the season opener since hosting the San Diego Chargers in 2012. It is also the first time playing the Broncos in the opener since 2011, a Monday Night Football contest the Raiders took in Denver, 23-20.
-The Raiders open up the season with two home contests in a row for the first time since the 2015 campaign, when the club played Cincinnati and Baltimore in Weeks 1 and 2.
-This year marks the first time the Raiders will open the season with two divisional opponents in the first two weeks of the season since 2009, when the club faced San Diego and Kansas City in Weeks 1 and 2.
-The Raiders will host two primetime games against AFC West rivals (MNF - Sept. 9 vs. Denver Broncos and TNF - Nov. 7 vs. Los Angeles Chargers) for the first time since 2012.
-The last primetime game the Silver and Black played against the Chargers was also on Thursday Night Football on Christmas Eve in 2015, a contest in which the Raiders were victorious, 23-20 in overtime.
-This year will mark the sixth straight season the Raiders will finish the regular season on the road, as they travel to Denver in Week 17 to conclude the year. It marks the third time in team history Oakland will finish its season in Denver and first since the 2016 season. It also marks the second time in three seasons that the team has played its final two contests of the regular season on the road.
-The Raiders will spend six consecutive weeks away from home from Weeks 3-8, with their home game in Week 5 being located in London and their Bye Week in Week 6.
-For the sixth consecutive year Oakland will play at Kansas City in the month of December or later.
-A Week 6 Bye marks the earliest Bye Week for the club since 2015, when the club also had a Week 6 Bye.
-The Raiders will have two back-to-back road trips after the midway point of the season (Nov. 24 at New York Jets and Dec. 1 at Kansas City; Dec. 21 or 22 at Los Angeles Chargers and Dec. 29 at Denver).
-The team will play four of its final six contests of the regular season on the road for just the third time in franchise history and the first time since 2009, with the other occurrence being in 1980.
