The Las Vegas Raiders joined Nellis Air Force Base to help spread holiday cheer

LAS VEGAS, NV – The Silver and Black visited Nellis Air Force Base this holiday season to enjoy an evening connecting with Air Force personnel and their families.

The Las Vegas Raiders dedicated their support to military personnel and their loved ones at NAFB by providing 500 trees and winter essentials to the community. This special event brought families together ahead of the holiday season. Service Members and their families along with special guests of Coral Academy of Science Nellis Campus had the opportunity to pick out a tree of their choice, select winter essentials, enjoy hot chocolate, decorate cookies and engage in festive activities.

As a presenting sponsor of the event, Verizon donated 1,000 beanies and enhanced the festivities by bringing their promotional van and hosting a holiday craft station for the children. Naqvi Injury Law and the Raiders worked together to coordinate a clothing drive, purchasing 100 items, and Abercrombie & Fitch donated 100 additional items. In addition, Pink Box Doughnuts donated 480 assorted doughnuts.

Service members raved about the tremendous impact the Raiders continue to have on the community and their families.

The Las Vegas Raiders partnered with Verizon and Naqvi Injury Law to host a the Raiders' Holiday Salute event for families at Nellis Air Force Base where families were able to pick out trees, pick out clothes, create holiday ornaments and enjoy hot cocoa and doughnuts.
