Las Vegas será la sede del NFL Draft 2022 para compensar la cancelación del evento del 2020.
Los expertos especulan que los Raiders usarán su selección en un jugador defensivo para reforzar la presión sobre los mariscales o la defensiva secundaria. La defensiva de los Raiders permitieron la tercera mayor cantidad de puntos ofensivos en el 2020.
"En la defensiva tenemos que mejorar en los tres niveles, sin duda alguna," dijo Jon Gruden. "Necesitamos jugadas de impacto por parte de nuestra defensiva: capturas, balones forzados, robos de balón.."
"Tenemos que hacer mejor trabajo en la defensiva."
