Pendergast Joins Raiders Coaching Staff

Veteran assistant Clancy Pendergast has joined the Oakland Raiders coaching staff.

Pendergast has spent the past six seasons as an NFL defensive coordinator, having served in that capacity last year for the Kansas City Chiefs and for the Arizona Cardinals from 2004-2008.

He was the Cardinals defensive coordinator when Arizona captured the NFC Championship in 2008 and earned a berth in Super Bowl XLIII.
