Raiders Award $10,000 Grant To Play 60

Wednesday, February 28, Raiders Alumni, Raiderettes, Sandy Searles Miller Academy for International students, and representatives from the Dairy Council of Nevada and Clark County School District (CCSD) joined forces to help students in the CCSD eat healthier and stay physically active. The Raiders and the Dairy Council of Nevada are came together to award the CCSD with a $10,000 "Hometown" Grant. These "Hometown" Grants are part of a larger initiative between the NFL and Fuel Up to Play 60 to supply a grant to a deserving school district in each of the 32 NFL markets, in hopes of making a difference in the overall health and wellness of students across the country. The Sandy Searles Miller Academy students were joined in a school assembly by Raiders Alumni, Raiderettes and youth ambassador Raider Rusher and afterwards, participated in a youth football camp.

The Raiders and the Dairy Council of Nevada joined together to award the CCSD with a $10,000 "Hometown" Grant to help students in the Clark County School District (CCSD) eat healthier and stay physically active.
