Sunday, the Oakland Raiders threw the pads on for the first time and the excitement among the players was on another level. Monday, that same level of excitement was kicked up another notch as the national media was in attendance to cover the Silver and Black's day of work.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Colleen Wolfe, and former NFL players David Carr (Derek Carr's brother), and Michael Robinson were in attendance to sit and chat with members of the Silver and Black. The topics of discussion ranged from the hiring of Head Coach Jon Gruden, to many of the free agent acquisitions the team made this offseason.
Let's take a look at what they had to say:
To kick off the day, Head Coach Jon Gruden stopped by to chat with Robinson and Carr.
Wide receivers Amari Cooper and Jordy Nelson shared their expectations for the 2018 season.
Derek Carr talked about the addition of Nelson, and what he's meant in the meeting rooms.
No. 4 discussed what it's been like being coached by Gruden in his return to the sideline.
Robinson heard through the grape vine that defensive end Bruce Irvin is having a strong camp.
