Raiders to celebrate 65th season by reenacting iconic plays during halftime of Raiders vs. 49ers preseason matchup

For seven memorable decades, the proud wearers of the Silver and Black have had the greatest players, the greatest coaches, the greatest plays and been involved in the greatest games in the annals of professional sports. Raider Nation cast their votes for their favorite notable moments for each decade, which will be recreated on the field, with the help of the Rancho High School Football Team, at halftime of the preseason contest against the 49ers.

Rancho High School opened in 1953 as the third public high school in the Las Vegas Valley. Rancho has five high school football state championships in its history – 1958, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1988. Most recently in 2023, the Rancho Flag Football Team participated in the Raiders 11-ON Flag Tournament at the Intermountain Health Performance Center and Raiders HQ.

Pia Toscano, who will perform the National Anthem, has made a name for herself as a vocalist with a rich, emotionally transparent voice, clearly influenced by the likes of Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, & Etta James. Performing since the age of four, Toscano was widely considered one of American Idol's Season 10 frontrunners thanks to her powerhouse vocal ability. Toscano toured with American Idol's Live, Jennifer Lopez, David Foster and Andrea Bocelli, and has performed on The Ellen Show, The Tonight Show, Live with Regis & Kelly, and Good Morning America. Her latest music release was her single called "Labor Of Love."

The Raiders House Band returns for their fourth year of entertaining Raider Nation. This All-Star ensemble is an exciting, innovative and dynamic 19-piece orchestra led by David Perrico's powerful trumpet and stunning vocalists, featuring an all-female acoustic string section. The house band is comprised of world-class Las Vegas musicians who have performed with the likes of superstar entertainers Celine Dion, Santana, Beyonce, Rod Stewart, Andrea Bocelli, Shania Twain, and Diana Ross.
