Raiders Sign Sixth-Round Pick Linebacker Azeem Victor

ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have signed sixth-round draft pick LB Azeem Victor, the club announced Saturday.

Victor was selected 216th overall by the Raiders in the 2018 NFL Draft. He played in 44 games with 26 starts over his four-year career at Washington, totaling 197 tackles (129 solo), 3.5 sacks, one interception, 10 passes defensed, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. The 6-foot-2, 240-pound linebacker earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors in 2016 and was tabbed for honorable mention All-Pac-12 recognition in 2015.

As a senior in 2017, Victor played in nine games with five starts and posted 30 tackles (21), a career-high two sacks and three passes defensed. The Compton, Calif., native started 10 games as a junior in 2016 and recorded 67 tackles (45) with one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
