The Oakland Raiders proudly present Staci as this week's "Raiderette of the Game." Whether performing on the field, at a charity event, or behind the scenes at rehearsal, this second-year Raiderette always comes out with a strong work ethic and a glowing smile.
After graduating fourth in her high school class with an amazing 4.42 GPA, Staci received an academic scholarship to UC Berkeley, where she earned her bachelor's degree in American Studies. Following her graduation in 2005, she went on to complete her master's in Education and obtained her teaching credentials from UC Davis. She now works as a first grade teacher and has already received the Teacher of the Year award!
Staci has been performing as a cheerleader and dancer for twelve years, and was on the UC Berkeley Dance Team. She currently uses her extensive knowledge and passion for cheer as a coach for her high school cheer team. In addition, she performed on the popular television game show Wheel of Fortune with her college dance team in 2004.
Staci joined the Raiderettes because she grew up loving the Raiders, the excitement of the game, and watching the cheerleaders perform. Her favorite Raiderette memory was last year when the Raiders had their first win of the season. "The crowd was so crazy and involved," said Staci. "The game was so exciting and it brought tears to my eyes."
Staci looks forward to making this year's season unforgettable as the Raiders continue their legacy of excellence.
