For the second year in a row State Farm and the Raiders hosted the State Farm® Raiders Road Trip Sweepstakes. The winner, Javier Ortiz, traveled to New York to watch the Raiders face the Jets in Week 14 action.
Ortiz entered the sweepstakes and could not believe he was selected for the opportunity to see the Silver & Black play on the other side of the country. "Surreal," said Ortiz. "I was like, 'what's going on?' I didn't believe it until it finally kicked in [later]."
Ortiz attended the game with his wife as it was their first trip to New York and New Jersey. The couple from Watsonville, Calif., enjoyed the experience. "It's exciting, first time," said Ortiz.
What was he looking forward to the most at MetLife Stadium? "Just getting crazy just like a home game," he said.
