De'Andre Pierce enters his first season as an offensive assistant coach for the Las Vegas Raiders.
Pierce began his coaching career at Cal Poly Luis Obispo, where he served as a defensive quality control coach in 2023. In his single season, Pierce saw DE Elijah Ponder lead the team in sacks (10), making him the first Mustang with 10 plus sacks since 2005. Ponders had 13 tackles for loss, and 17 QB hits, tied for program record. He earned All-Conference first team defense and 2023 Walter Camp FCS All-American Team. Pierce then went to Texas Christian University where he was a graduate assistant in 2024 before joining the Raiders.
Before beginning his coaching career in 2023, Pierce played six years at the collegiate level, two years at Arizona State University (2020-21) and four years at Bosie State University (2016-19). Pierce played under his father - Raiders Head Coach Antonio Pierce - at Arizona State for two seasons, racking up 86 tackles, a sack, three interceptions and four passes defensed in 17 games earning the Darren Woodson Outstanding Secondary Award and an Honorable Pac-12 Mention in 2021.
In four seasons (2016-19) at Boise State, Pierce totaled 144 tackles, seven tackles for loss, a sack, an interception, and six passes defensed in 36 games as a defensive back. He was named All-Mountain West Honorable Mention his sophomore season after recording 83 tackles, four tackles for loss and an interception and earned an 84.7 PFF grade, the fifth best mark among FBS safeties.
PERSONAL: Long Beach, Calif. native…Played football at Long Beach Poly High School under his father, Antonio Pierce… Pierce and his fiancé Artrea, have a son, Cairo, and daughter, Capri.
