Biography
Andy Dengler enters his second season with the Raiders as a Senior National Scout. Previously, he was with the Jacksonville Jaguars for 23 years from 1998-2021, handling various roles including area scout, national scout, college director and assistant director of player personnel. He started in scouting 1995-1998, as an area scout with National Football Scouting. Prior to scouting, he coached college football at both St. Joseph's College 1992-1995 (OL-OC) and 1990-1992 Tiffin University (OL). He was a graduate assistant at Bowling Green State University, and prior to that was a high school teacher and coach for two years.Â
A native of Circleville, Ohio, Dengler earned a Master of Education degree from Bowling Green State University and undergraduate Bachelor of Arts from Heidelberg College. He is married with two daughters.
