Assistant Director of Pro Scouting

Biography

Ben Chester enters his 10th season with the Raiders as a Pro Scout after originally joining the organization in 2014. In his current role, Chester assists the player personnel department in various areas: evaluating both professional and college players, advance scouting of upcoming opponents, directing in-season tryouts, assisting in setting the free agency board, and attending college pro days. Prior to his time with the Silver and Black, Chester was a defensive graduate assistant for the UW-Stevens Point football team and a football operations assistant/pro liaison at UW-Oshkosh. 

A native of Green Bay, Wisc., Chester graduated from UW-Green Bay with a degree in business administration and received his master's degree from UW-Stevens Point in Education. He was a member of the Ripon College football team before having a few stints as a quarterback in the Indoor Football League. Chester resides in Las Vegas with his wife, Amy.
