Biography

JaLun Morris is entering his second season as a Player Personnel Assistant for the Las Vegas Raiders after six years in recruiting at the collegiate level. Before he joined the Silver and Black, he spent two years at the University of Alabama-Birmingham as the Assistant Director of Recruiting. His responsibilities included helping to oversee the management of the recruiting board, assisting with visits, and breaking down POA tapes for high school prospects. Prior to that, he spent one year as a scouting intern with the Seattle Seahawks, where he performed daily transaction duties to keep all NFL team roster boards updated and evaluated players from other leagues (AAF, CFL, AFL). Prior to his time in Seattle, he spent the previous three seasons as a Recruiting Specialist at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. His duties included breaking down and building POA tapes for high school prospects and helping to manage and provide hospitality to prospects on official and unofficial visits.  

A native of Fairfield, Ala., Morris earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and a master's degree in sports management from the University of Alabama. He is the son of Michelle and Richard Morris.
