Ryan Gravel enters his first season as an area scout after two seasons as a Player Personnel Assistant. Prior to his time with the Silver and Black, Gravel worked in recruiting at Wake Forest University as a player personnel assistant, where he led the offensive recruiting efforts. He also served as director of recruiting at Eastern Kentucky University and Yale University, where he oversaw all recruiting-related activities. Gravel previously served as wide receivers coach at John Carroll University and Ave Maria University. 

A native of Swampscott, Mass., Gravel graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University with a bachelor's degree in business management. The son of Michael Gravel and Donna Witham, he is the youngest of four children with a sister, Jamie, and two brothers, Corey and Josh.
