Biography
Scott Touchet enters his 29th season with the Raiders and his fourth as Director of Sports Medicine Administration/Athletic Trainer. He originally joined the organization in 1995 as an assistant athletic trainer after having served a year-long internship with the Dallas Cowboys in 1992. Touchet oversaw the planning and development for the athletic training department's facilities at both Allegiant Stadium and the Intermountain Healthcare Performance Center. In addition to treating and rehabilitating players, he oversees electronic medical records and worker's compensation for the Raiders. Touchet was the winner of the 2014 PFATS Assistant Athletic Trainer of the Year Award.Â
A native of Corpus Christi, Texas, Touchet graduated from the University of Arizona with a Master of Science in athletic training in 1995 and Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science in health education, with an emphasis in athletic training in 1993. Touchet and his wife Gloria have three children, Jordan (31), Katrice (29), and Wyatt (19).
