Biography
Zachary Longenecker enters his 11th season with the Raiders and his 10th as Head Groundskeeper. He served as the team's assistant groundskeeper from 2013-14. Prior to his time with the Silver and Black, Longenecker worked in groundskeeping for several organizations, including the NFL (Minnesota Vikings), Major League Baseball (Miami Marlins, St. Louis Cardinals and Oakland Athletics), Minor League Baseball (Reading Phillies) and NCAA Football (Penn State).Â
A native of Annville, Pa., Longenecker graduated with a bachelor's degree in turf science from Penn State University. Longenecker and his wife, Konstantina, have one son, Giannis.
