The Silver and Black moved to the indoor field for Tuesday's practice, where the offense and defense kept things pretty even. Geno Smith connected with receiver Dont'e Thornton Jr. again for a touchdown as well as a few great passes to Brock Bowers. Devin White was also flying around, nabbing an interception and a would-be sack on Smith.

"He had probably two or three of the best plays in practice yesterday as well," Head Coach Pete Carroll said of White. "He's back. He was on top of the world a few years ago and then things kind of just didn't work out one reason or another. He's back in action now."

The team will be back on the practice field Thursday after a player off day tomorrow.

"Until we start knocking each other around and battling to make each other better, you really don't know where you are," Carroll said Friday of looking forward to padded practice. "And so, we can only evaluate what we can, and at this point, we're in great shape with understanding our players. But this is the next step."

Day 3 of Raiders training camp had the defense looking active and on the offensive side, the tight ends getting quite a few passes thrown their way. Not much can be evaluated yet as pads don't come on until next week.

Following practice, Head Coach Pete Carroll addressed the team's decision to release DT Christian Wilkins.

"We took a long time to make our decision," Carroll said. "We watched our way through the whole thing. We're keeping it really clear with what we said, I think there was no clear path to his return and so we just had to move on."
