2024-2025 High School Flag Football Coach of the Week
Desert Oasis High School Head Coach Todd Thomson
Last week Desert Oasis had a win over Liberty High School 41-26 to bring their win streak to 11. Desert Oasis is 15-2 this season.
Boulder City High School Head Coach Sandra Cameron
Boulder City went 3-0 last week with wins over Western High School, Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon and SLAM Academy. Boulder City is 10-1 so far this season.
Sierra Vista High School Head Coach Troy Smidt
Last week Sierra Vista went 2-1 with wins over Del Sol (35-6) and Canyon Springs (26-6). Overall, on the season the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions are 7-1.
Palo Verde won the Mustang Rodeo tournament hosted by Shadow Ridge High School. In the tournament they defeated Pinecrest Cadence 13-0, Reigning 4A state champions, Coronado High School 12-6, and SECTA 6-0. In the Championship game, in a rematch of last years 5A state championship, Palo Verde defeated Shadow Ridge High School 14-18.
Southeast Career Technical Academy (SECTA) Head Coach Daryl Zobb
Last week SECTA played 4 games and won three of them. The defense gave up no more than 8 points in any of those games. Their only loss on that stretch was by 1 point to Arbor View High School. SECTA has started the season 11-3. Last season the team finished the season 13-11
Mojave played and won all three of their games last week including two shut outs, 44-0 over Desert Pines, 46-0 over Spring Valley and only allowed 6 points to Durango.
Coach Bowler led his team to a 3-0 record to begin the flag football season. He then hosted the Lady Bulldog Invitational Tournament with 22 Clark County High School teams participating. The Lady Bull Dogs made it to the semi final game of the tournament before falling to the eventual champions.
