Here is this week's FedExAir & Ground matchup report for Week 3:
The Silver and Black continued their hot start to 2017 last weekend at home, putting a smack down on the New York Jets 45-20 in a game that featured an outstanding day from wide receiver Michael Crabtree.
Head Coach Jack Del Rio's team is 2-0, and will now fly east to take on the Washington Redskins on Sunday Night Football.
The Redskins are coming off a win themselves, and will look to keep the positive momentum rolling against a Raiders team that has arguably the most firepower on the offensive side of the football in the NFL.
While the Washington defense has been stout against the run the past two weeks, they've been susceptible to big plays though the air, as their 269 passing yards per game ranks just 26th in the NFL. With quarterback Derek Carr at the helm, I would assume Offensive Coordinator Todd Downing will likely set No. 4 loose through the air in the hopes he can take advantage of the defense.
Don't forget about Marshawn Lynch and the trio of Raiders running backs on the ground either, as they try to crack a stout Redskins defensive front.
On the other side of the football, keep an eye on the Redskins duo of running backs, Robert Kelly and Samaje Perine, and see if they can get rolling against the Raiders defensive front.
