Heading into his professional debut as an Oakland Raider, defensive tackle Treyvon Hester wasn't nervous.
Anxious, sure, but not nervous like you assume a rookie in his first preseason game would be.
"I was just ready," said Hester postgame. "Ready to go, just ready to go out there and showcase my talents as best as possible."
Hester played 33 snaps in his first game as a Raider, finishing the game with four total tackles, two sacks, two tackles for loss, and one quarterback hit.
"It's a good feeling," Hester said of the defensive line's performance. "It's something that we expect to do to help this team out. Whatever we have to do to help this team out, that's we're willing to do."
It was an impressive debut, so much so in fact that Hester's first sack is this week's Performance Moment of the Week, presented by Bridgestone.
