Q: You missed a majority of this year, so how is your rehab going and how are you feeling health-wise?
Jones:"It's been going pretty good. The hardest part is mentally telling myself that I'm healed, so I'm just pushing myself to do some natural movements and just getting myself out there and getting my confidence up is what I've been focused on right now."
Q: How excited are you now to get back on the field and get back to work?
Jones:"I'm so excited. I already started training and getting myself in shape. I just can't wait to get back to football. It feels like forever since I've played."
Q: A lot has changed since the last time you were on the field; you have a new head coach. How is that for you? Is it exciting for you?
Jones:"Once we get into camp and get things going, that's when it'll get fun again. During the offseason, I'll let them handle the business part and bring in all the pieces we need, but really we're all just filling up the bus because hopefully we all have the same destination in mind."
Q: Have you gotten to speak with Coach Del Rio at all yet?
Jones:"I know since he has been in it's probably been real crazy for him, so I'm going to just wait a little bit before I go in and bother him."
Q: What do you do during the offseason? What do you do to pass the time?
Jones:"Really, just try to spend as much time as I can with my family. Mess around with my dogs and occasionally I may take a trip to visit other teammates, but for the most part I'm just at home or rehabbing and getting ready for the season."
Q: How important is it during the offseason to still keep that connection with your teammates?
Jones:"It's big for me. I like to think of my teammates as family and try to spend that off-the-field time just getting to know each other. You play that much harder when you have a connection with people."
Q: What's your message to Raider Nation?
Jones:"I'll just tell them to stay tuned, because if any of the other players are like me, we're definitely putting that work in. I know they're tired of hearing us say, 'This is our year. This is our year,' so just stay tuned and hopefully we'll show them."
