Each season, Raiders players vote on which teammate should receive the prestigious Commitment to Excellence Award, given to the Raider who best exemplifies hard work, leadership, and excellence on and off the field throughout the season. This year, S Charles Woodson was presented with the award for the second straight year following another standout season on the field, as well as impressive list of off-the-field work. It started as the Gorman Award in 1967 and was later renamed the Commitment to Excellence Award in 1983.
