On the week of practice: "It was good. I think our guys had a good week at practice. Now it's just time that we go out and let that practice go to work in the game. We're excited about being back at home and we're excited about the opportunity to play a good Saints team."
On Tyvon Branch returning to practice: "It's a better step forward. It's better than he didn't practice, but he was limited today in practice."
On what Branch was able to do: "Practice. He was able to practice."
On if Branch will be a game-time decision: "It'll be a game-time decision."
On Darrius Heyward-Bey: "Darrius did not practice today. He's feeling a lot better. Again, he'll be another game-time decision as to whether he plays or not."
On if Heyward-Bey doesn't play: "[Derek] Hagan and [Juron] Criner have been playing in that position, so and then obviously, Denarius Moore and Rod Streater are still playing, so we'd have four receivers up in the game."
On who would be the first guy up in that position: "Well, Hagan would probably take the first rep, but they'll all play."
On the team's mindset: "I think anytime you're a competitor, you're anxious to get out on the field. We all got a lot of pride and we want to go out and play the way we know we're capable of playing. I think our guys will do that."
On what he learned with the Saints that he's applied at the Raiders as head coach: "To me, I just saw how it's supposed to be done. We were able to do it a championship level there and those are the things that I'm trying to do the same things here. That's how I learned how to do it, we had success that way and that's what we're going to continue to try to do here."
On handling the tragedy in Coach Terrell Williams' family: "Listen, number one is first and foremost, you feel terrible for Terrell and Tifini for what they had to go through. It was a difficult situation. You don't know how people are going to respond to that. But the biggest thing is you try to keep everybody informed on what's going on and be there for them in case they need something. That's really what we tried to do. But yeah, you can't help but have emotions about that and it was a tough situation."
On when Coach Williams will return: "I've talked to him. We've talked about him coming back on Monday, so he's still got some of the funeral process to go through. But he'll do that in Florida this week and we anticipate him being back and coming to work on Monday."
On the coaching staff has filled in for Coach Williams: "Eric Sanders has been working with the defensive line all year long so he's kind of taken the lead role, but everybody has had to take a little bit extra on to fill that role."
On if Sebastian Janikowski is a game-time decision: "No, he's fine."
