Camino a este reconocimiento, Carr ha guiado al Plata y Negro a una marca de 3-0, primera ocasión en que los Raiders inician una temporada con dicha marca desde el 2002, aparte de ser líder en yardas por pase (1,203). También ha lanzado seis pases de anotación, todos atrapados por un receptor diferente, contra solo dos intercepciones.
