Oakland Raiders left tackle Donald Penn appeared on Sports Illustrated Now and talked about quarterback Derek Carr's relationship with rookie wide receiver Amari Cooper.
Carr missed much of the onfield portion of the offseason program due to an injury but Penn said you'd never know there was an issue.
"Carr's first day back, [people] talking about him being rusty," Penn said. "I looked at him and said, 'that's what you call rusty?' I like it then, because he came back from the first day like he never missed a beat. And, him and Cooper, they're just getting their timing; they're getting their rhythm down."
Penn added, "They had a couple of great pass and catches in this last mini-camp that were really spectacular. I wish you guys could have seen it." The Raiders report to training camp in just about five weeks as they continue to prepare for the 2015 campaign.
