Raiders sign CB Eric Stokes

HENDERSON, Nev. – The Las Vegas Raiders have signed unrestricted free agent CB Eric Stokes, the club announced Thursday.

Stokes spent the past four seasons with the Green Bay Packers (2021-24) after being drafted by the club in the first round (29th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft. Over his career, he has played in 45 games with 32 starts and totaled 127 tackles (97 solo), one interception and 14 passes defensed.

Last season, the 6-foot-1, 194-pound cornerback appeared in 17 games with seven starts and recorded 41 tackles (29). Stokes posted career highs as a rookie in 2021, recording 55 tackles (43), one interception and a team-high 14 passes defensed. His 14 passes defensed were tied for No. 11 in the NFL and No. 1 among rookies that season.

A native of Covington, Ga., Stokes played three seasons at Georgia (2018-20), appearing in 36 games with 25 starts and posting 78 tackles (60), one sack, two tackles for a loss, four interceptions, two interceptions returned for touchdowns, 26 passes defensed and one forced fumble.
