A game-by-game breakdown of the Raiders' 2024 schedule

Week 1

Los Angeles Chargers

Where: SoFi Stadium

When: Sept. 8 at 1:05 p.m. PT

2023 record: 5-12

Last meeting: Dec. 14, 2023 – Raiders 63, Chargers 21

All-time series record: Raiders lead series 68-58-2

Head Coach: Jim Harbaugh

Notable offseason moves: Signed TE Hayden Hurst, RB Gus Edwards and C Bradley Bozeman; released WR Mike Williams; traded WR Keenan Allen; drafted OL Joe Alt

Storyline to watch: The Chargers have completely revamped their offense with Jim Harbaugh now at the helm and the Raiders will be the first to take on these new-look Bolts as the season kicks off. It also marks the third-consecutive season that the Silver and Black will travel to an AFC West opponent for the season opener.

Week 2

Baltimore Ravens

Where: M&T Bank Stadium

When: Sept. 15 at 10:00 a.m. PT

2023 record: 13-4

Last meeting: Sept. 13, 2021 – Raiders 33, Ravens 27

All-time series record: Ravens lead series 8-4

Head Coach: John Harbaugh

Notable offseason moves: Signed RB Derrick Henry; re-signed DT Justin Madubuike and LB Kyle Van Noy; drafted CB Nate Wiggins

Storyline to watch: The Silver and Black will face the Harbaugh brothers back-to-back to start the season. This is also the first East Coast game on the Raiders' slate among five games they'll play at the 10 a.m. PT slot.

Week 3

Carolina Panthers

Where: Allegiant Stadium

When: Sept. 22 at 1:05 p.m. PT

2023 record: 2-15

Last meeting: Sept. 13, 2020 – Raiders 34, Panthers 30

All-time series record: Raiders lead series 4-3

Head Coach: Dave Canales

Notable offseason moves: Signed OLB Jadeveon Clowney and WR Diontae Johnson; drafted WR Xavier Legette

Storyline to watch: With a new head coach and QB Bryce Young entering his second season, the Panthers come to town for the Raiders' home opener at Allegiant Stadium.

Week 4

Cleveland Browns

Where: Allegiant Stadium

When: Sept. 29 at 1:25 p.m. PT

Last meeting: Dec. 20, 2012 – Raiders 16, Browns 14

Head Coach: Kevin Stefanski

Storyline to watch: The Browns will make their first ever trip to Allegiant Stadium, having last played at the Raiders' home in 2018 – a game that resulted in an overtime 45-42 Raiders victory.

Week 5

Denver Broncos

Where: Empower Field at Mile High Stadium

When: Oct. 6 at 1:05 p.m. PT

2023 record: 8-9

Last meeting: Jan. 7, 2024 – Raiders 27, Broncos 14

All-time series record: Raiders lead series 72-53-2

Notable offseason moves: Released QB Russell Wilson & S Justin Simmons; traded for QB Zach Wilson; drafted QB Bo Nix

Storyline to watch: Can the Raiders keep their eight-game winning streak over Denver alive? Their streak is the longest active win streak against any team for the Raiders and the second-longest win streak against the Broncos in franchise history - the longest since 1965-1971 (14), per Raiders PR.

Week 6

Pittsburgh Steelers

Where: Allegiant Stadium

When: Oct. 13 at 1:05 p.m. PT

Last meeting: Sept. 24, 2023 – Steelers 23, Raiders 18

Storyline to watch: This marks the fourth straight season that these teams will match up against each other. With the Steelers having been victorious in the past two games, the Silver and Black will be looking to best their historic rival.

Week 7

Los Angeles Rams

When: Oct. 20 at 1:05 p.m. PT

Last meeting: Dec. 8, 2022 – Rams 17, Raiders 16

Head Coach: Sean McVay

Notable offseason moves: Signed QB Jimmy Garoppolo and CB Tre'Davious White; drafted DE Jared Verse and DT Braden Fiske

Storyline to watch: The Rams may now be without Aaron Donald following his retirement, but their high-powered offense which includes Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua – who set new rookie records for receiving yards and receptions – will be a sure challenge for the Raiders.

Week 8

Kansas City Chiefs

Where: Allegiant Stadium

When: Oct. 27 at 1:25 p.m. PT

Storyline to watch: The Chiefs have won four games vs. the Raiders inside Allegiant Stadium; will the Silver and Black end their division rival's streak this season?

Week 9

Cincinnati Bengals

Where: Paycor Stadium

When: Nov. 3 at 10:00 a.m. PT

Last meeting: Nov. 21, 2021 – Bengals 32, Raiders 13

Storyline to watch: Raiders fans won't forget the 2021 wild card game that ended in the Bengals moving on to the divisional round. Redemption for the Silver and Black could come in Week 9.

Week 11

Miami Dolphins

Where: Hard Rock Stadium

When: Nov. 17 at 10:00 a.m.

Last meeting: Nov. 19, 2023 – Dolphins 20, Raiders 13

All-time series record: Dolphins lead series 19-18-1

Head Coach: Mike McDaniel

Notable offseason moves: Signed WR Odell Beckham Jr., S Jordan Poyer and OLB Shaquil Barrett; drafted LB Chop Robinson

Storyline: The Raiders and Dolphins have faced off three times in the past four seasons, with the Dolphins winning two of those matchups. Will the Raiders be able to even the series in Miami?

Week 12

Storyline to watch: Another holiday matchup between these AFC West rivals comes on Black Friday this year. The last time the Raiders played on a Friday was the 1966 season opener against Miami, in which the Silver and Black won 23-14.

Week 14

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Where: Raymond James Stadium

When: Dec. 8 at 10:00 a.m. PT

2023 record: 9-8

Last meeting: Oct. 25, 2020 – Buccaneers 45, Raiders 20

All-time series record: Raiders lead series 7-3

Head Coach: Todd Bowles

Notable offseason moves: Re-signed QB Baker Mayfield and WR Mike Evans; Signed OLB Randy Gregory and S Jordan Whitehead; drafted C Graham Barton; released OLB Shaquil Barrett

Storyline to watch: The Raiders' schedule includes seven games against opponents that were playoff teams in 2023, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This Week 14 matchup marks the first road game for the Raiders in Tampa Bay since 2016.

Week 15

Atlanta Falcons

Where: Allegiant Stadium

When: Dec. 16 at 5:30 p.m. PT

Last meeting: Nov. 29, 2020 – Falcons 43, Raiders 6

All-time series record: Falcons lead series 8-7

Head Coach: Raheem Morris

Notable offseason moves: Signed QB Kirk Cousins and WR Darnell Mooney, drafted QB Michael Penix Jr.

Storyline to watch: The Silver and Black's lone primetime game in Allegiant Stadium is against the Falcons, the only team since 2021 to be winless in their primetime games (0-2).

Week 16

Jacksonville Jaguars

Where: Allegiant Stadium

When: Dec. 22 at 1:25 p.m. PT

Storyline to watch: While the Raiders' starting QB job is up in the air, if Gardner Minshew is under center come Week 16, he'll be facing his former team for the second year in a row. In the one start Minshew previously made against the Jags, he went 33-of-55 for 329 yards and one touchdown.

Week 17

New Orleans Saints

Where: Caesars Superdome

When: Dec. 29 at 10:00 a.m. PT

Last meeting: Oct. 30, 2022 – Saints 24, Raiders 0

All-time series record: Series tied 7-7-1

Head Coach: Dennis Allen

Storyline: In probably one of the more highly anticipated games of the Raiders' 2024 slate, Saints QB Derek Carr will square off against his old team inside the Caesars Superdome.

Week 18

The last time the Raiders finished the season at home against the Chargers (2021) was an unforgettable ending for the Silver and Black as they clinched a playoff spot with a 35-32 overtime win.
