With a young nucleus spearheaded by Derek Carr, Amari Cooper, and Khalil Mack, once again, the Raiders are a team at the forefront of the national conversation regarding the NFL.
Fox Sports Radio's Colin Cowherd interviewed Head Coach Jack Del Rio Wednesday afternoon, and during his time in "The Herd," Del Rio spoke about a variety of topics, including the team's return to relevance, as well as the Raiders' quarterback, Derek Carr.
"You need a guy that has the presence, does things the right way; he does that," said Del Rio about Carr.
"He's a natural leader. He's a tireless worker, so in terms of preparation, a quarterback has to be that kind of guy, first in, last to leave. He can throw the football. He can put it where he wants to put it."
