Running Back DeAndré Washington
Christmas Eve was bittersweet for the Oakland Raiders, the team defeated the Indianapolis Colts 33-25 to chalk up its 12th win of the season, but the Silver and Black suffered the loss of MVP candidate Derek Carr, who suffered a broken fibula in the fourth quarter of the Week 16 game. In the blink of an eye, the team's signal-caller went from scrambling in the pocket, to asking for assistance from the training staff.
It's undetermined how long No. 4 will miss game action, but there's no denying his absence won't be an easy pill to swallow. In his stead, quarterback Matt McGloin will be asked to step up and run the team's offense. Prior to Carr's injury, the offense exploded for five touchdowns and showcased several highlight reel plays.
