We're only three weeks into the 2017 NFL season, and this Sunday, the Oakland Raiders will be featured on primetime television for the first of five times in 2017. The Silver and Black are traveling across the country to play the Washington Redskins at FedExField, in a battle highlighted by Raiders quarterback Derek Carr and Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins.
The Raiders hold a record of 2-0 for the first time in 15 years, and are clicking on both offense and defense. Running back Marshawn Lynch has helped the team close out games late, as well as give them a physical presence in the backfield. Through the air, the Redskins are currently giving up 269 yards per game, which ranks 26th in the NFL.
