Important Dates As The Oakland Raiders Inch Closer To Week 1 Of The Regular Season

The countdown to the regular season is in full swing, and each day the Oakland Raiders inch closer and closer to their regular season opener Sept. 11 against the New Orleans Saints at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Quarterback Derek Carr and Co. now have two preseason games under their belts, and are less than three weeks away from playing meaningful games; however, between now and then, there are still several key dates that should be circled on the calendar with regard to the Silver and Black.

Now that the team is back to work at its Alameda, Calif., facility, let's take a quick look at what's on the agenda over the next few weeks.

Preseason Week 3 vs Tennessee Titans:August 27

Roster Reduction to 75:August 30

Preseason Week 4 vs Seattle Seahawks:September 1

Roster Reduction to 53:September 3

Regular Season Week 1 vs New Orleans Saints:September 11

Regular Season Week 2 vs Atlanta Falcons (Home Opener):September 18
