Late Rally Falls Short, Packers Drop Raiders

RB Maurice Jones-Drew's 40-yard TD run kept the game close early, and the defense showed signs of being able to get to the quarterback, but the Packers proved to be too much at Lambeau Field.

The Packers won the opening coin toss and elected to receive. RB DuJuan Harris returned K Kevin Goessling's opening kickoff to the Packers 27. The Packers marched down the field right off the bat as RB Eddie Lacy scored on a 1-yard TD plunge to cap a 6-play, 72-yard drive. The Packers mounted another scoring drive, aided by an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on DT Antonio Smith, as Rodgers hit TE Andrew Quarless from 6 yards out. A pass interference call on the two-point conversion gave the Packers another shot. RB James Starks added the two-point conversion and the Packers led 22-7 with 5:58 left in the 2nd quarter.
