What a wild day in the NFL.
The NFL trade deadline was at 1:00 PST Tuesday afternoon, and there certainly weren't a lack of teams around the league wheeling and dealing in the final hours before the trading window came to a close.
While General Manager Reggie McKenzie and the Oakland Raiders stood pat Tuesday afternoon, the Silver and Black will indeed be affected by some of the trades that occurred Tuesday – one in particular.
When the Raiders travel to South Beach to take on the Miami Dolphins Sunday night, they'll be squaring off against a Dolphins team that shipped off its leading rusher Jay Ajayi to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick.
Just a year ago, the dynamic running back ran for over 1,200 yards, although, at this point in 2017, he's just rushed for 465 yards, and has yet to find the end zone. Keep in mind though, the Raiders will still have to face Ajayi in 2017; they're set to take on the Philadelphia Eagles December 25 at Lincoln Financial Field.
Let's take a look at some of the other big trades that have gone down around the league today:
-San Francisco 49ers acquire quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo from the New England Patriots in exchange for 2018 second-round pick.
-Seattle Seahawks acquire tackle Duane Brown from the Houston Texans in exchange for 2018 third-round pick, 2018 fifth-round pick (conditional), and 2019 second-round pick.
-New York Jets acquire cornerback Rashard Robinson for undisclosed draft picks.
-Buffalo Bills acquire wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin for third-round, and seventh-round pick in 2018 NFL Draft.
