NFL analysts, spectators, and fans have their eyes focused on tonight's Thursday Night Football showcase between the Oakland Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs. Many are calling this the game of the season, but for the Silver and Black the team has remained honed in all week for the matchup and isn't listening to the outside noise.
The AFC West showdown holds a lot of significance because of the playoff implications on the line for each team. Currently, the Raiders sit atop the division with a record of 10-2, while the Chiefs trail by only a game.
Thursday night, the teams will take the field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri and square off in the freezing temperature. This an old school rivalry, and should feature and old school style of play, as the Raiders and Chiefs grind it out in the trenches.
Heading into the matchup, here's a look at Raiders inactive players.
Quarterback Connor Cook
Cornerback Antonio Hamilton
Safety Karl Joseph
Guard Kelechi Osemele
Defensive Tackle Darius Latham
Linebacker Shilique Calhoun
Defensive Tackle Stacy McGee
Notables:
Rookie safety Karl Joseph will miss Thursday's action with a toe injury which occurred last week when the Raiders hosted the Buffalo Bills. In his first season with the team, Joseph currently has 60 tackles (second-most on the team) and one interception. In his stead, Nate Allen should see an increase in playing time.
Guard/tackle Kelechi Osemele will also not be suiting up in tonight's game as a late scratch due to illness, making this the first game he'll miss as a member of the Silver and Black.
