The Oakland Raiders are gearing up for their showdown with the division rival San Diego Chargers, and with a win, the team will secure a spot in the playoffs for the first time in 14 years. The Silver and Black will be meeting the Bolts for the second time this year after pulling out a close 34-31 win at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum back in Week 5.
San Diego has an emerging talent on their hands in rookie defensive end Joey Bosa, who recorded two sacks against the Raiders in his NFL debut. The Raiders offense will be tasked with keeping him ineffective, while trying to attack a Chargers secondary that's tied for first in interceptions this season.
Heading into the matchup, here's a look at the Raiders inactive players.
Quarterback Connor Cook
Cornerback Antonio Hamilton
Safety Karl Joseph
Guard/Tackle Vadal Alexander
Guard Denver Kirkland
Linebacker Shilique Calhoun
Defensive Tackle Stacy McGee
Notables:
Rookie safety Karl Joseph will miss his second consecutive game this week after being held out of the team's Thursday Night Football game against the Kansas City Chiefs with a toe injury. Joseph recorded his first professional interception earlier this season when the Bolts visited the OACC, notching his first pick off of veteran signal-caller Philip Rivers.
Joining him for the second week in a row will be defensive tackle Stacy McGee, who – when healthy – has been a strong presence on the line.
