The NBA trade deadline wrapped up at 12 p.m. PT Thursday, and the news stemming from the deadline caused an outburst of reaction tweets from across the sports universe.

Starting at roughly nine o'clock this morning, the Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers kicked the day off with a big trade, dealing two-time All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas to the Lakers, including veteran forward Channing Frye, and a protected 2018 first-round pick. The Lakers in return sent athletic youngsters Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. to "The Land."

Following that move, the Cavs traded away essentially their entire team, sending 12-time All-Star Dwyane Wade back to Miami to play with the Heat, point guard Derrick Rose and forward Jae Crowder to the Utah Jazz, and much more.

The reports sent the Twittersphere ablaze, and many Oakland Raiders took to the social media site to share their thoughts, take a look.

Tackle Marshall Newhouse provided his two cents.

Carr and his former Raiders teammate KJ Brent, also a fellow Lakers fan, commented on their favorite NBA team's deadline maneuver.

As Florida-natives, defensive end Khalil Mack and guard/center Jon Feliciano were overjoyed Wade was returning to Miami.

Caught up in the moment, Carr also used his opportunity to try and recruit Lebron James to the Lakers.
