One of the best parts of sports is tradition.
Whether it's an iconic uniform, a stadium that has played host to some of the biggest games in history, or a unique, pre-game moment passed down from generation to generation, tradition is without a doubt one of the reasons why we love sports.
The Oakland Raiders are a franchise rooted in deep, meaningful traditions, so much so, that *USA Today *nominated the entire Raider Nation as a contender the Best Sports Tradition category in its 10Best Readers' Choice travel award.
The Silver and Black's fan base will now go head to head with the Cameron Crazies, Howard's Rock, the Lambeau Leap, and others, in a competition to crown the best tradition in all sports.
