The Oakland Raiders, The Team of the Decades, kick off the franchise's 52nd season of professional football competition versus the Arizona Cardinals at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in Week 1 preseason action.

The Raiders and Cardinals will meet for the 12th time in the preseason, with the Silver and Black holding a 7-4 advantage in the all-time series. The teams last played a preseason contest in Oakland in 2008.

The Raiders travel across the Bay to face the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2. Oakland plays San Francisco in the preseason for the 11th straight year and the 39th time overall, with the teams tied at 19 victories apiece in the all-time series.

The Silver and Black return to Oakland to host the New Orleans Saints in a nationally televised contest in Week 3 action on Sunday, August 28. The game will be televised by NBC (5 p.m. PT) and will mark just the fifth preseason contest between the two teams with the series tied at two wins apiece.

In the preseason finale, the Raiders travel to the Pacific Northwest to face the Seattle Seahawks in Week 4. The Raiders play the Seahawks, their former AFC Western Division foe, for the sixth straight time in the preseason and for the fourth time in the last five years in Seattle.

Dates and times for the 2011 regular season games will be announced by the NFL later this month. Remaining preseason dates and times will also be announced at a later date.
