Linebacker Sio Moore has been traded to the Indianapolis Colts.

The Oakland Raiders have acquired a 6th round selection in the 2016 NFL Draft from the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for linebacker Sio Moore.

The Raiders originally selected Moore in the 3rd round of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Connecticut. He played in 26 games and recorded 140 total tackles and 7½ sacks.

When asked about Moore earlier this week, Head Coach Jack Del Rio said, "I'm not sure that I would try to describe it any other way than we're playing the guys that we need to get a look at. We'll continue to finish our evaluation up until the last week."

The Raiders will enter the season with veteran Curtis Lofton in the middle, former Super Bowl MVP Malcolm Smith, rising star Khalil Mack, athletic Ray-Ray Armstrong, aggressive rookies Ben Heeney and Neiron Ball, and veteran special teams ace Lorenzo Alexander at linebacker.

Notable recent 6th round draft choices for the Raiders include running back Latavius Murray, tight end Mychal Rivera, and defensive tackle Stacy McGee.
