Raiders Acquire Fifth-Round Selection, Trade Olawale

ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have acquired a fifth-round selection (173rd overall) in the 2018 NFL Draft via a trade with the Dallas Cowboys, the club announced Tuesday. As part of the trade terms, the Raiders will receive the 173rd overall selection (a Dallas compensatory pick) in the 2018 Draft in exchange for FB/RB Jamize Olawale and Oakland's selection in the sixth round (192nd overall). The 192nd overall selection originally belonged to the Seattle Seahawks and was acquired by the Raiders as part of the trade for Marshawn Lynch on April 26, 2017.

Olawale joined the Raiders in 2012 and has played in 77 games for the club over the last six seasons. For his career, he has totaled 55 rushing attempts for 206 yards with four touchdowns, and 39 receptions for 425 yards and three touchdowns.

Additionally, the Raiders have waived LS Bradley Northnagel.
