ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have acquired a fifth-round selection (159th overall) in the 2018 NFL Draft via a trade with the New England Patriots, the club announced Monday. As part of the trade terms, the Raiders will receive the 159th overall selection in the 2018 Draft in exchange for WR Cordarrelle Patterson and Oakland's first compensatory selection in the sixth round (210th overall).
Patterson appeared in all 16 games for the Raiders last season, recording 31 receptions for 309 yards and 13 rushes for 121 yards and two touchdowns. As a returner, he totaled 19 kickoff returns for 538 yards, and his 28.3 yards per return led the NFL. For his career, Patterson played in 80 games over five seasons with the Raiders and Minnesota Vikings.
