Raiders Acquire LB Aaron Curry

The Oakland Raiders have acquired LB Aaron Curry via a trade with the Seattle Seahawks. Curry was the fourth overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft for the Seahawks. In 35 career games, Curry totaled 156 tackles (130 solo), nine passes defensed, 5.5 sacks and four forced fumbles.

The 6'2", 255 pound linebacker started 49 of 51 games in his career at Wake Forest. He earned the 2008 Butkus Award, given to the nation's top linebacker. He finished ninth on Wake Forest's all-time record list with 332 tackles and led the team as a senior with 105 tackles (66 solo).
