The Oakland Raiders have added LB Miles Burris and re-signed DL Brian Sanford to the active roster, General Manager Reggie McKenzie announced Wednesday.

Burris spent the first 11 weeks of the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list. The second-year player from San Diego State appeared in all 16 games, starting 15, in 2012 and finished third on the team with 138 tackles (84 solo). Burris added 1.5 sacks, one interception and one forced fumble a year ago. The 6-foot-2, 240-pound linebacker originally returned to practice Oct. 30.

Sanford, who was waived by the team Nov. 16, has appeared in four games – including one start – for the Silver and Black this season, and has totaled seven tackles (three solo). The 6-foot-2, 280-pound lineman spent the previous three seasons as a member of the Cleveland Browns after originally signing as an undrafted free agent in 2010.

The Raiders have also placed CB DJ Hayden on Reserve/Injured. Hayden appeared in eight games (two starts) this season and recorded 29 tackles (23 solo), two passes defensed, one interception and one forced fumble. His fourth-quarter interception of a Philip Rivers pass in the end zone on Oct. 6 sealed the Raiders' 27-17 over the Chargers. Hayden was Oakland's first-round selection (12th overall) in the 2013 NFL Draft.

The Raiders also added DT Ricky Lumpkin to the practice squad. Lumpkin played in one game with Arizona in 2012 and was waived by the Cardinals Sept. 6.
