Raiders Activate Hayden, Sign Autry from Practice Squad

CB DJ Hayden has been activated from the PUP list.

ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have activated CB DJ Hayden and signed DE Denico Autry to the active roster, General Manager Reggie McKenzie announced Saturday.

Hayden has been added to the active roster from the reserve/physically unable to perform list, which he was placed on Aug. 26. Hayden appeared in eight games, making two starts, as a rookie in 2013, totaling 29 tackles (23 solo), one interception, two passes defensed and one forced fumble. He was the Raiders' first-round pick (12th overall) in the 2013 NFL Draft. Autry was originally signed by Oakland as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State in May 2014. He was added to the Raiders' practice squad on Sept. 1. Autry appeared in 26 games with 23 starts as a Bulldog, posting 73 tackles, six sacks and three forced fumbles.
To make room on the roster, the Raiders have placed DE LaMarr Woodley andS Usama Young on the reserve/injured list.
